Officers, Committees and Working Parties 2008/09
The Society is managed by a Council consisting of a President, Vice-President, immediate Past-President, Secretary, Treasurer, Librarian, Editor, and up to five Council Members. The office of President may be combined with that of Editor or Librarian. The office of Vice-President may be combined with any other office except that of President.
The officers and council members are elected for one year at the Annual General Meeting, held in April each year. Officers and council members are eligible for re-election. Any other paid-up member is eligible for election to any office or as a council member.
There are currently two Honorary Vice-Presidents of the Society, but Honorary Vice-Presidents are not ex-officio members of the council.
